This is a non-timed 5K run/walk on the beautiful Waynesboro Municipal Golf Course. It is a Color Run so during the run participants will be showered with various colors so that they look like a rainbow!
The Blue and Gold Color Run is a fundraiser to support the dedicated cross country runners at the Waynesboro Area Middle School and the Waynesboro Area Sr. High School. A Color Run is a non-timed 5K run/walk for the community during which participants are showered with various colored powders so that at the end they look like a rainbow! It is fun for all ages and all abilities!
The cost of the event is $20.00 per person. Register by March 15 to guarantee your shirt size.
The event will be held April 8, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. at the Waynesboro Municipal Golf Course at 165 Cemetery Ave., Waynesboro, PA 17268. Packet pick-up and late registration ($25.00 cash only if space is available) will begin at 7:30 a.m. at the Municipal Golf Course. There will be two groups of runners starting at 9:00 a.m. and 9:05 a.m.
After the race there will be two "color parties" during which the participants will be able to throw color on each other! These will start at 9:45 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
